Solitude - Machina Construct

"The Construct is the most common, and most succesful of all developed Machina. As a body and vessel, it imitates that of a human body far better than most other golem types, minus the need for sustenance and with the added magical resistances. The knowledge and creation of Constructs is largely credited to Opthis, God of Slaves and Machines, who revealed the secrets of Golemcrafting to the first Necroficers.

Designed first to be the loyal servants of Opthis' ambitions, the first Constructs built the Machine Wall and manned its many bastions in the earlier days of the Abyssal Age. They were the first and last defense against the Abyssal shadows that crept ever closer to the remaining lands of the Reborn World. In time, many Constructs with souls of strong willpower managed to break free of Opthis' chains.

There are many different variants of Constructs, often depending on the wishes and whims of the creator or the preferences of the used soul. "
