Solitude - Machina Oorn

"The Oorn hail from Grand Ouros, though the actual specifics of their golemic creation remains a mystery. Despite being a Machina race, the Oorn are a traditionally tribal people, with very humanlike needs.

They spent a vast majority of their existence beyond the Machine Wall; wandering the dry and decayed lands of Ouros and the Grey Lands. After the tribes united and marched upon the Machine Wall, they created the Oornic Breach, and have since remained primarily in their new home of the Broken Stones, the Last Light, and the Warped Desert.

Oorn function a lot like generic mortals, in that they consume sustenance and require sleep, despite their stone-like, golem bodies. New Oorn are created from clay, stone, and sometimes metal by the tribe's Shaper, who spends a long time on meticulous details, before inserting the final piece, a rare and precious crystallized Soul Vessel, to grant the Oorn body sentient, free life."
