"Among the many gods, Malithaé is the only of the living Numa who can count herself as also half-Nua, in that her vessel contains the seeded soul of Magora, Nua of Nature, and half-mother of Malithaé. This bond allows Magora's soul to endure beyond the reach of the Mother-Trees that carry her name, and thus she can still be of aid in watching over her Gardens. Malithaé carries her mother's soul with her, and by combining their powers, they preside as the Guardians of the many Nymwen Woodrealms of the Shards, as well protect those who inhabit those woods. When Malithaé's own vessel begins to fail, a new daughter of the Woods is procured by her followers, so that the spirits of Malithaé and Magora can continue to bloom."
