Numenua - Eszora's Herd

"When the Nua, Orishu the Huntress came to the Shards, she taught her Kindled in the arts of her craft, so that they might fend for themselves properly in this new and wild world. In fact, her most talented disciples grew so skilled that they threatened to hunt the local herds to extinction. The Numa Eszora, Orishu's daughter, witnessed her animals slain to the point of excess, and so she took upon her care a handful of wild stags and deer, and thrust them into the stars, where the arrows of only the most skilled and magnificent hunters could hope to reach their mark. Even now, so many uncounted years later, Eszora's herd runs wild and free across the night, with no care for what happens beneath their endless skies"
