Solitude - Reborn Ghûl

"Shapers, Windcallers, Djinnic Witches, and general practitioners of forgotten magics; the native peoples of the vast central deserts, known as the Ghûl, hold a strong affinity for not only the manipulation of the Arcane Winds, but also the study and understanding of it and its interaction with the Unborn Worlds. Additionally, the Ghûl hold storied traditions as beast-tamers, and have mastered the trade of taming and training the many various mutated beasts of the deserts, as well as any beasts of other, even more exotic lands.

Even before the extinction and subsequent Rebirth of Mankind, the Ghûl ancestors were travellers of the sands, and created many trading outposts which developed into grand cities during the Decadent Age. Most are, of course, in ruins now, following the Divines War and the Ruination, but some few cities have been repopulated and restored by the Ghûl after their return.

The Ghûl are found mostly in the central regions of the Reborn World, and hold a strong presence firstly in the Warped Desert. Their frequented lands include the Crystal Empire, the Last Light, Godswatch, Khar Nathra, Moonfell, Last Razh-Zan, and distant Akash. Cala-Dium, the greatest city of the Ghûl, maintains an efficient network of caravaneers who carry goods, beasts, and people to faraway realms."
