Nym - World Map - Twin-Continents

" It has been 36 years since the Second Era ended and the Third began. Prophets and doomsayers of many cultures and communities have spoken of this Era as being the final one, and it is said that the End Times are upon the world. The many strings and powers that have held the world together for many thousands of years, since the beginning of this world's shaping, are beginning to unravel and falter under their common stress and weight, and the effects become more apparent for every passing year. Gods abandon their Seats of power, mortals wage continuously greater wars, and magic's untended fabrics tear, scourge and scar the Worldsoul itself. It is the Third Era; an Era of the End. "

This is one of my biggest map projects. I've redrawn this particular map from scratch seven times now, from when I first drew it over 15 years ago. This latest iteration took years to come to this final conclusion, as I kept scrapping it and starting over again several times over.

I feel very confident that this is my final version of this map now (though I've said this before too), and I hope that I can start actually working on the rest of the world now that I have a proper base for it. Updates will still generally be infrequent most likely, but at least I can finally get back to working on Project Nym again!

Nym is as passion project of mine, but it is mostly a world-building hobby. I hope to have lots of more maps, art, and lore to share one day, and to see many small and big adventures throughout the lands and cities of Nym.
